Celebrating anniversary of buying a house or return of estranged husband
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah. I take orders and make cake for people. Now a friend wants me to make a cake for an occasion where her friends and family are celebrating for having bought their house one year ago and celebrating her husband moving to her many years ago. She gave her daughter a gift to compensate her for missing Xmas activities at school
I removed my 10 year old daughter from taking part in all the Christmas activities, trips etc that were taking part in her school and to encourage her and reward her I bought her a gift so she would not feel anything etc. Was it permissible to buy the gift ?

As Salaamu Alaykum, Is it correct that the cross on the first aid box is the sign associated with the Christians or is this a misconception? Also if one uses such a thing do they become a disbeliever, for example at work where they most likely wont be allowed to erase it?
