An Israeli air attack killed a Hamas activist on Thursday night with a missile in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian witnesses and medics said. In other Zionist violence, at least 13 Palestinians were injured in clashes with Israeli forces in the West Bank town of Nablus, and Palestinian police opened fire on Hamas members firing rockets on Jerusalem from the north of the Gaza Strip. It is the first time a rocket has reached a major Israeli city since the start of the Intifadha in September 2000. No one was injured but the blast further raised tensions on the volatile border between Gaza and Zionist state. **Palestinian Authority Freezes Islamic Charity Founds*** The Palestinian Authority is reported to have frozen several dozen bank accounts allegedly linked to Hamas, sparking off protests: the move has affected many Palestinians dependent on the money to live. Some took to the streets of Gaza and Rafah after banks refused to cash in their welfare checks.
