Palestinian Dies as Israeli Troops
One Palestinian died Friday morning of wounds he sustained last Saturday. Medical sources in Rafah said Ahmed Abu Siyam died on Friday of critical wounds he sustained after having been shot in by Israeli soldiers in the Block O neighborhood of Rafah. Meanwhile, Palestinians reported Friday that Israeli troops and tanks were pulling out of three areas of the Rafah. Israeli sources said the troops were "redeploying." Witnesses said Friday morning the Israeli forces have pulled out of Tel Sultan neighborhood, the focus of the operation, and most of the troops have left the As-Salam section and the Brazil section next to the borderline with Egypt, Israel Radio reported.
